Our platform
The Running Paper platform is provided to schools, colleges and trusts under a written agreement with each customer: an Order Form incorporating our Master Service Agreement. Where a school, college or trust has an agreement with us, that agreement, not these terms, governs its use of the platform, including fees, availability, support, data protection and liability, and prevails over these terms in respect of the platform. Its teachers and staff use the platform as authorised users under that agreement; they do not enter into a separate contract with Running Paper. Customers can request a copy of their agreement and the documents it references at any time.
Using our website
You may view, download and print content from the Website for your own use and for the internal purposes of your school, college or trust. You must not use any part of the content on the Website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. You must not otherwise copy, reproduce, republish, frame or redistribute content from the Website without our prior written consent, and you must not remove or alter any copyright or other proprietary notices.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the Running Paper platform, or any account, system or network connected to them;
- Sign in, or attempt to sign in, to the Running Paper platform unless you are an authorised user;
- Upload real pupil data or student work unless your school, college or trust has an agreement in place with us;
- Interfere with the proper working of the Website, including by introducing viruses or other malicious material or by placing unreasonable load on it;
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the Website by automated means; or
- Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
We may restrict or withdraw your access to the Website if you breach these terms.
Information on this website
The content of the Website is provided as general information about Running Paper and our platform. It is not advice, and you should not rely on it as such. We work to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that its content is complete, accurate or current, and the features described on the Website may change over time. Statistics and case studies on the Website describe the experience of the customers concerned.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data, and a link does not imply our endorsement. You must not frame the Website on another website, and you must not link to the Website in any way that suggests an association with or endorsement by Running Paper, without our prior written consent.
Availability and security
We may update, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website at any time, and we do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to the Website, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free from vulnerabilities, and you are responsible for protecting your own device, including using your own virus protection software. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us.
Intellectual property
Running Paper and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, images and software. The Running Paper name and logo may not be used without our prior written consent. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you, and you receive no rights in the Website or its content beyond the permissions described above.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. Where a school, college or trust has an agreement with us, our liability in connection with the Running Paper platform is governed exclusively by that agreement, not by these terms.
Subject to the paragraph above: if you use the Website in the course of business, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations in relation to the Website, and we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage (including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings or business opportunity, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website.

Changes to terms and conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will post updates on this page, and continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
